Business Development Manager – Sales

About the role

The Business Development Manager – Sales will work full‑time on‑site at EFU Life Assurance’s Karachi Cantt branch. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with individual and corporate clients, and promoting EFU Life’s insurance products to achieve sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and generate leads, conduct client meetings and presentations, and prepare proposals.
• Follow up with prospects to close sales and maintain accurate sales records.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth policy issuance and after‑sales service.
• Participate in branch‑level marketing and outreach activities.
• Monitor market trends, provide customer feedback, and contribute to strategic sales planning.

Required profile

• Proven ability in business development and achieving sales targets in financial services or a related sector.
• Strong relationship‑building and client‑management skills, with experience in prospecting and networking.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities for in‑person meetings and group sessions.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills, including accurate documentation and use of basic office software tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field; equivalent professional experience in insurance or financial sales considered.
• Knowledge of life insurance products and local market dynamics in Karachi is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with high integrity and customer focus.
