Business Development Officer - Field Sales

About the role

Mobilink Microfinance Bank Limited is hiring Business Development Officers through its recruiter Green Peak International. This is a field sales role for people who enjoy meeting customers, building relationships and earning based on results; fresh graduates are welcome. You will bring in new customers and deposits by building relationships with businesses, shopkeepers and individuals in your branch's area, reporting to the Branch Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and visit prospective customers, including businesses, shopkeepers and individuals in the branch's catchment area
• Bring in new deposits and grow the branch's customer base
• Open accounts and complete the related documentation
• Follow up with prospects and existing customers to build long-term relationships
• Achieve the monthly deposit target
• Represent the bank professionally in the local market

Required profile

• Completed bachelor's degree; business degrees preferred
• Experience in sales, customer service or banking is an advantage; fresh graduates are welcome
• Currently living in and able to work daily in the job location
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Target-driven, self-motivated and comfortable with daily field work

What we offer

• Fixed salary of PKR 50,000 per month
• Commission of 2% on total deposits once the PKR 4 million minimum is reached (PKR 80,000 at PKR 4 million, PKR 120,000 at PKR 6 million)
• Fuel allowance of PKR 10,000 in any month the target is met
• Work split roughly 50% in the field visiting markets, businesses and customers, and 50% at the branch on follow-ups, account opening and paperwork

The selection process involves CV screening, a video interview and an in-person interview at the bank, usually the day after a successful video interview.
