Business Development Officer

About the role

As a Business Development Officer at Vaygo, you will drive the growth of our mobility platform by onboarding fleet partners, recruiting drivers, and ensuring seamless adoption of our technology. This position blends relationship management with strategic execution to expand our presence in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and onboard new fleet partners.
• Recruit and onboard drivers to the Vaygo platform.
• Train fleet managers and drivers on the Vaygo Driver App and dashboard.
• Monitor driver activation, engagement, and performance.
• Maintain strong relationships with fleet owners and drivers, resolving onboarding issues promptly.
• Track onboarding progress and keep accurate records in the CRM/system.
• Analyze operational data to uncover growth opportunities and develop strategies to increase active drivers and fleet partnerships.
• Collaborate with Operations, Customer Support, and Product teams to improve the onboarding experience.
• Conduct market research, identify expansion opportunities, and monitor competitor activities.
• Generate weekly reports with insights and recommendations for business growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Operations, or Account Management.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and able to manage multiple partners simultaneously.
• Experience in ride‑hailing, logistics, transportation, or mobility platforms is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Competence in using spreadsheets.
• Familiarity with mobile applications.
