Business Development & Partnerships Associate

About the role

SwotsUp is seeking a motivated Business Development & Partnerships Associate to drive restaurant acquisition and partnership growth. You will manage the end‑to‑end journey from lead generation to onboarding and long‑term relationship management across Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate leads for restaurants, cafés, bakeries, home kitchens and cloud kitchens.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and update the CRM regularly.
• Conduct cold outreach via calls, WhatsApp, Instagram, email and in‑person meetings.
• Schedule and lead meetings with owners and decision‑makers, pitch SwotsUp’s value proposition and negotiate commercial terms.
• Convert prospects into active partners and meet monthly onboarding targets.
• Manage onboarding documentation, contracts and go‑live processes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for merchants, handling queries, support and contract renewals.
• Coordinate invoicing, follow up on payments and collaborate with Product, Marketing and Operations teams.
• Track competitor activity and uncover new partnership opportunities.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Partnerships or Account Management.
• Confidence in cold outreach, negotiations and closing deals.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, organized and target‑driven.
• Comfortable with a field‑based role involving frequent local travel (up to 70%).
• Experience in startups, food‑tech, SaaS or marketplaces is a plus.
