Business Manager - Respiratory

About the role

The Business Manager - Respiratory drives the commercial performance and growth of the assigned respiratory therapeutic business through brand management, marketing strategy and business execution. The role covers brand planning, market opportunity identification, product performance management and sales and market share growth aligned with the organization's objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual brand and marketing plans for the respiratory portfolio, including DPIs (Dry Powder Inhalers), to meet sales, market share and profitability targets.
• Drive brand strategy, product positioning and promotional initiatives in line with market dynamics, therapeutic trends and customer needs.
• Manage the product portfolio, including brand growth, lifecycle management and market expansion.
• Identify opportunities for new product introductions and contribute to pipeline development and product launches.
• Collaborate with the Sales team on marketing strategies, promotional campaigns and business plans.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, customer insights and brand performance, and recommend actions.
• Run scientific engagement and customer-focused promotional activities with Medical Affairs and other stakeholders.
• Work with Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Finance and Business Development.
• Monitor brand budgets and marketing investments, and ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, ethics and organizational policies.

Required profile

• Degree in Pharm-D, Business Administration, Marketing or a relevant discipline; an MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred.
• 10-12 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, brand management or product management.
• Prior experience in Respiratory/Pulmonology or a related therapeutic area is an advantage.
