Business Strategy & Operations Analyst II

About the role

Join Motive as a Business Strategy & Operations Analyst II, partnering with Sales and GTM leaders to own recurring business rhythms, build automation, and provide data‑driven recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Own and run weekly and quarterly business review cadences, reconciling numbers and surfacing insights.
• Identify manual processes and ship automation solutions using AI agents, multi‑system workflows, and scripted data pipelines.
• Analyze pipeline, forecast, and productivity data to answer leadership questions with actionable recommendations.
• Partner with sales leaders on territory design, account assignment, and capacity planning.
• Maintain accurate quota, target, and KPI tracking, ensuring data integrity and building QA into all deliverables.

Required profile

• 2+ years in sales operations, revenue operations, business intelligence, or business strategy with ownership of recurring reporting.
• Strong analytical judgment: can structure vague requests, choose appropriate rigor, and defend assumptions.
• Excellent communication: explain complex data models to non‑technical stakeholders and craft clear, quantified narratives.
• Proactive ownership: chase answers across teams, propose solutions, and uphold high accuracy standards.

Required skills

• SQL (joins, window functions, CTEs, aggregation).
• Advanced Google Sheets.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce objects, fields, and reports.
• Experience building automation with Glean, n8n, Apps Script, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with Hex or comparable analytics tools and Python (strong advantage).
