Business Unit Head

About the role

The Business Unit Head is a full‑time, on‑site senior leadership position based in Nowshera. You will be responsible for shaping and executing the unit’s strategy, driving growth, and ensuring all activities align with Pak‑Qatar Group’s Islamic finance principles.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the business unit’s growth plans and strategic direction.
• Manage budgets, P&L, and overall performance against targets.
• Lead, develop, and motivate cross‑functional teams, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Drive sales, business development, and customer relationship initiatives.
• Maintain strong relationships with partners, regulators, and key stakeholders.
• Monitor KPIs, optimise processes, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Prepare regular performance reports for senior management.
• Collaborate with other group entities to identify opportunities, manage risks, and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven leadership and people‑management experience, including team development and performance management.
• Strong business‑strategy, planning and execution skills with a track record of driving growth and managing P&L.
• Expertise in operations and process management, KPI setting, workflow optimisation and service‑quality assurance.
• Solid background in sales, marketing and customer‑relationship management, preferably within financial services, insurance or Takaful.
• Deep understanding of Islamic finance and Takaful concepts and ability to align practices with Shariah principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field; master’s degree or professional certifications are a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in a senior management or business‑unit leadership role.
