C++ Engineer – Remote (High‑Performance Systems)

About the role

Vector Solutions is seeking a skilled C++ Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high‑performance software applications. The role focuses on client‑server systems, market‑data gateways, and low‑latency network communication, all performed remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain C++17 applications with a focus on client‑server architecture and market‑data management.
• Implement multithreaded and parallel computing solutions to achieve low latency and high throughput.
• Develop, test and optimise TCP‑IP and UDP communication protocols.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and deployment.
• Apply advanced data structures, algorithms and memory‑management techniques to ensure stability and performance.
• Use version‑control systems, conduct code profiling, and perform code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate user requirements into technical solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of professional experience in C++ development.
• Strong understanding of multithreading, thread safety and parallel programming.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and follow disciplined version‑control practices.
