Carrier Sales Representative

About the role

The American Truck Inc. is seeking an experienced Carrier Sales Representative to join its Islamabad team. You will find and onboard new carriers, match loads with the right trucks, and build lasting relationships with carriers and dispatchers.

Key responsibilities

• Find and qualify carriers through DAT, Truckstop and personal network
• Onboard carriers: MC/DOT verification, insurance COI, W‑9, NOA and agreements
• Match loads with carriers based on equipment, lanes, capacity and performance
• Negotiate carrier rates that protect margin and are fair
• Maintain carrier and load records in the TMS and send rate confirmations
• Handle delays, detention and other issues promptly and professionally

Required profile

• 2+ years experience in U.S. freight carrier sales, dispatch or brokerage
• Proven record of covering loads and negotiating rates over the phone
• Strong knowledge of U.S. trucking equipment, lanes and compliance
• Fluent English and ability to work U.S. business hours (night shift) onsite in Islamabad

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with DAT and/or Truckstop platforms
• Familiarity with carrier vetting tools such as Highway, Carrier Assure or RMIS
• Experience using a Transportation Management System (TMS)
