Cashier – Banking Experience Required

About the role

The Vertical is looking for a dedicated Cashier with extensive banking experience to manage cash operations within a financial institution. The ideal candidate will bring 7–8 years of hands‑on experience in cash handling, transaction processing, and customer service, ensuring accuracy and compliance at all times.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately manage cash receipts and payments on a daily basis.
• Verify, reconcile, and record all cash transactions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date cash records and prepare regular reports for management.
• Ensure strict adherence to company cash handling procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Provide professional customer service, addressing transaction‑related queries promptly.
• Safeguard cash assets and protect the confidentiality of financial information.

Required profile

• 7–8 years of experience working in a bank, either currently employed or recently retired.
• Strong knowledge of cash management and banking procedures.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in basic computer applications, particularly MS Office.
