Cashier – Retail POS

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Cashier to join Bannu Woollen Mills’ retail team in Faisalabad. The role involves handling all monetary transactions at the point of sale while delivering friendly, professional service to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer purchases accurately, accepting cash, credit and debit payments.
• Open and close cash drawers, count cash at the start and end of each shift.
• Maintain clear records of all transactions and promptly report any discrepancies.
• Provide courteous service, greet customers, answer questions and resolve concerns.
• Ensure compliance with company policies for transaction processing.
• Balance registers by verifying totals and managing change.
• Identify and report suspicious activity according to protocol.
• Assist with inventory checks and restocking near the checkout area.
• Keep the checkout area clean, organized and ready for customers.
• Collaborate with store associates to support overall store operations.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience as a cashier in a retail environment.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in cash handling.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work independently without managing a team.
