Chief Engineer – Infrastructure & Construction

About the role

Design & Engineering Systems (Pvt.) Ltd is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead the delivery of large-scale infrastructure and construction projects in Lahore. The role combines strategic leadership, technical oversight, and contract management across roads, bridges, buildings, and flyovers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise the execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring they meet schedule, budget and quality targets.
• Develop and approve designs, conduct design reviews and secure all required technical approvals.
• Manage project budgets, cost control and financial reporting using detailed planning tools.
• Oversee multi-site teams, provide technical guidance and resolve on-site issues through regular inspections.
• Administer contracts, handle claims and apply FIDIC-based contractual practices.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, clients and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and stakeholder alignment.
• Utilise MS Project to schedule tasks, allocate resources and track progress.

Required profile

• BSc Civil Engineering, PEC registered.
• 10–15 years of experience in construction and infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record in project execution, budgeting and contract administration.
• Strong leadership and multi-site management capabilities.
