Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Advanced Manufacturing

About the role

The client, a fast‑growing high‑precision manufacturing organisation, seeks a hands‑on Chief Executive Officer to professionalise, scale and lead its manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will shape strategy, drive commercial growth and build a high‑performance plant in Islamabad.

Key responsibilities

• Build and launch manufacturing operations, including the design, construction and commissioning of a new facility.
• Develop and execute company strategy in partnership with the Board.
• Scale production capacity while ensuring operational excellence and safety.
• Develop government, institutional and commercial business channels.
• Oversee quality, compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Manage financial performance, P&L, capital allocation and supply‑chain procurement.
• Recruit, mentor and lead the executive team and senior functional leaders.
• Foster a culture of accountability, quality and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 10+ years in high‑end technical or advanced manufacturing.
• 3–4+ years in an executive leadership role (CEO, COO or VP Manufacturing).
• Strong mechanical engineering background with experience setting up and scaling manufacturing facilities.
• Proven track record of P&L ownership and senior team building.

Required skills

• CNC machining and precision manufacturing.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Quality Management.
• Supply‑chain and procurement expertise.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949 quality systems.
• Metrology tools such as CMM, SPC and precision measurement.
• Capital‑expenditure planning and plant expansion.
