Chief Human Resources Officer

About the role

The client is a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer seeking a strategic Chief Human Resources Officer to lead the people function. The role involves shaping HR strategy, strengthening culture, ensuring compliance, and aligning talent initiatives with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategy, policies, procedures and annual HR plans.
• Lead performance management, talent acquisition, succession planning and employee engagement initiatives.
• Oversee compensation and benefits, payroll coordination, HR operations and employee services.
• Manage workforce planning, organisational development, training and career progression programmes.
• Advise senior management on employee relations, disciplinary matters, organisational structure and people‑related risks.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in HRM, preferably with SHRM, CHRM or SPHR certification.
• Minimum 4 years in a similar HR leadership role or at least 6 years as Head of HR in a reputable organisation.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, manufacturing or other regulated industries is preferred.
