Civil Quantity Surveyor – Cost Estimation & Management

About the role

Fim Enterprises is seeking a Civil Quantity Surveyor with strong cost estimation and management expertise to support high‑value civil construction projects in Karachi. The role focuses on preparing accurate quantity take‑offs, Bills of Quantities and cost estimates while ensuring projects remain within budget and contractual limits.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quantity take‑offs, Bills of Quantities and detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects.
• Conduct rate analysis to support tendering and procurement processes.
• Verify and prepare interim payment certificates and final bills in line with contractual agreements and site progress.
• Check and reconcile quantities based on drawings and site measurements to ensure billing accuracy.
• Monitor overall project costs, assess variations and provide timely cost reports to project management.
• Coordinate with site engineers and project teams to implement cost‑control measures.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all quantity surveying activities, including contracts, estimates and cost reports.
• Assist in contract administration, ensuring adherence to terms, conditions and timelines.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in civil construction quantity surveying.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven ability to prepare Bills of Quantities, cost estimates and rate analyses.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for coordination with engineers, contractors and management.
