About the role
EFU Life Assurance Ltd. seeks a Claims Doctor Assistant Manager to evaluate medical claims, ensuring compliance with health insurance policies and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Examine and assess medical claims by reviewing clinical documents, treatment protocols, and diagnostic information.
- Apply ICD-10 coding and medical billing expertise to ensure accurate classification and processing of claims.
- Detect and report inconsistencies, discrepancies, or potential fraud in medical documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance representatives, and internal teams to clarify claim details.
- Prepare detailed analysis reports on claim assessments for management review.
Required profile
- Medical professional with an MBBS degree and valid PMDC registration.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and treatment protocols.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Required skills
- ICD-10 medical coding.
- Medical billing and healthcare claims processing.
