Cloud Architect (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Cloud Architect to join a leading AI and cloud computing client on a contract basis. Working remotely, you will design, deploy, and optimise cloud infrastructure that powers next‑generation AI model training and evaluation, ensuring high scalability, security, and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage resilient, secure, and scalable infrastructure across AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable deployments.
• Containerise applications with Docker and orchestrate clusters using Kubernetes.
• Automate provisioning and configuration with Terraform and Ansible.
• Monitor system health with Prometheus and Grafana and implement proactive issue resolution.
• Manage IAM policies, secrets and access controls to meet compliance standards.
• Optimise logging architecture for continuous improvement and observability.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on DevOps experience in cloud environments.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaborate with AI, security and development teams.
• Strong understanding of Linux system administration, networking fundamentals and security best practices.
