Cloud Solution Architect – Azure Enterprise Applications, Data & AI

About the role

The Cloud Solution Architect will own the end‑to‑end Azure cloud deployment experience for enterprise customers, from pre‑sales assessments through design, proof‑of‑concept, and production rollout. You will work directly with senior executives and IT decision‑makers to demonstrate how Azure can drive digital transformation across applications, data, and AI.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions on digital transformation, mapping current and future states to business value.
• Design and deliver complete Azure solutions, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services, in hybrid or cloud‑only environments.
• Collaborate with sales and partners to identify new workload opportunities and drive consultative selling.
• Manage project delivery, ensuring timelines, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Build and nurture strategic relationships with technology partners and senior customer executives.
• Present technical concepts clearly to both large and small audiences.

Required profile

• Proven experience in customer‑facing, consultative technical sales or pre‑sales roles.
• Strong track record of leading architecture and application design discussions with senior executives.
• Ability to drive decisions collaboratively, resolve conflicts, and ensure follow‑through.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services.
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, virtualization, storage, networking, and cost‑governance.
• Experience with containers, micro‑services, and serverless computing.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
• Strong background in data analytics, Generative AI, and AI/ML solutions.
• Familiarity with SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL databases.
• Proficiency in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
