CNC Router Operator – Furniture Manufacturing

About the role

Mirari Furnitures is seeking an experienced CNC Router Operator to work in its furniture manufacturing facility near Burhan Interchange on the M‑1 Motorway. The operator will run CNC wood routers to produce furniture components, decorative carvings, profiling, engraving and cutting tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate and operate CNC wood routers for a variety of wood materials (solid wood, MDF, plywood).
• Use ArtCAM and related CAD/CAM software to prepare, modify and optimise design files, creating effective toolpaths.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate dimensions and surface quality.
• Choose appropriate router bits, cutting speeds, feed rates and depths, and conduct trial runs before full production.
• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication and basic troubleshooting of the machines, reporting any malfunctions.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of hands‑on experience operating CNC wood routers in furniture or woodworking manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and follow strict safety procedures.
• Proven ability to maintain accurate job records and minimise material waste.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ArtCAM and other CAD/CAM software.
• Expertise in CNC wood router operation and setup.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and design specifications.
