Commercial Systems Engineer

About the role

Join Flipdish as a Commercial Systems Engineer, building products, systems, automations, and internal tools that help commercial teams scale. You will work across AI Marketing, Google Business Profile, Growth Operations, and broader commercial workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain systems supporting commercial products and internal operations.
• Build internal tools and automation enabling Sales, Onboarding, Partnerships, and Marketing to scale without linear headcount growth.
• Deliver product improvements and monitoring for Google Business Profile initiatives.
• Build scalable automation for AI Marketing, including campaign setup, QA, monitoring, reporting, alerting, and revenue attribution.
• Own the path from local development to production on AWS, including deployment, observability, incident response, and reliability.
• Construct dashboards and instrumentation to track adoption, performance, and commercial outcomes.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, preferably with the MERN stack.
• Experience shipping and deploying production applications on AWS.
• Proficiency with AI‑assisted engineering tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Vercel, and LLM APIs.
• Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions and measure impact.
• Strong communication skills with non‑engineers and cross‑functional teams.
