Communication Officer (Social & Digital) – Contract

About the role

The Punjab Family Planning Program (PFPP) seeks a Communication Officer to lead social and digital communication initiatives for a World Bank‑funded project. The role involves designing and executing communication strategies that promote family planning services and engage diverse audiences across Punjab.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive communication plan aligned with PFPP objectives.
• Manage PFPP’s social media channels, creating and curating engaging content.
• Produce multimedia materials (articles, videos, infographics) for public outreach.
• Monitor media coverage and public sentiment, providing timely reports to project managers.
• Coordinate with development partners, NGOs, and government stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging.
• Support advocacy campaigns and community engagement activities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media or a related field from an HEC‑recognized university.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in communication strategy development and social/digital media management.
• Prior experience working on development or donor‑funded projects is preferred.
