Computer Teacher – Teach Coding & Digital Literacy

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Computer Teacher to deliver a comprehensive computer science curriculum to students across various grade levels. The role involves teaching fundamental computer operations, coding, and essential software applications while fostering an engaging learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a curriculum tailored to students' grade levels and skill sets.
• Teach basics of computer operations, coding, word processing, spreadsheets, and other essential applications.
• Assess student progress through quizzes, tests, and assignments, providing constructive feedback.
• Stay updated with technology developments and integrate new tools into teaching methods.
• Support students in developing digital literacy and critical thinking skills.
• Collaborate with faculty to integrate technology into other subjects and interdisciplinary projects.
• Organize and supervise extracurricular computer clubs or activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a computer teacher or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals and teaching methods.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, or related field.
• Teaching certification or licensure as required by local authority.
• Minimum 1–2 years of classroom teaching experience.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
