Construction Manager (Mechanical)

About the role

MEP Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Construction Manager (Mechanical) to lead on‑site mechanical works for projects at Karachi Port Qasim. The role involves overseeing all phases of construction, ensuring quality, safety and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and estimate costs for mechanical construction projects from conception to completion.
• Direct construction workers, subcontractors and coordinate with architects, engineers and other specialists.
• Conduct regular site visits, including bid walks, pre‑construction walks, in‑progress inspections, punch walks and close‑outs.
• Perform quality‑assurance and safety inspections, ensuring tools and equipment are in good condition.
• Maintain and update statements of work and pre‑construction documents, and manage relationships with reliable contractors and vendors.
• Respond promptly to work delays, emergencies and other project disruptions.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience managing new‑construction and remodeling projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, technologies, building‑code requirements and scheduling methods.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts.
• Proven capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality.
• BSc in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).

• Heating and cooling system installation and maintenance.
• Refrigeration, piping and plumbing systems.
• Interpretation of technical drawings.
• Knowledge of building‑code compliance.
• Construction site safety practices.
