About the role
The Punjab Health & Population Department is inviting applications for a Consultant promotion (BS-18) for serving Medical Officers (MOs) and Women Medical Officers (WMOs). The selected candidate will provide specialist consultancy within their medical specialty and support the delivery of high‑quality patient care across provincial hospitals.
Key responsibilities
- Provide consultancy and expert advice in the designated medical specialty.
- Supervise clinical teams and ensure effective patient management.
- Assist hospital departments in delivering specialist healthcare services.
- Uphold professional standards in line with PMDC regulations.
Required profile
- Current serving MO or WMO at BS‑17 level.
- Valid postgraduate qualification in the relevant specialty.
- Registration with the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC).
- Compliance with service rules and seniority list requirements.
