Content Writer

About the role

Zones, a global IT solution provider and MBE operating in more than 120 countries, is hiring a Content Writer. The role creates audience-focused marketing and thought leadership content that supports demand generation, brand awareness, sales enablement and customer engagement. It reports to the Senior Manager, Marketing Campaigns and turns complex business and technology solutions into clear, persuasive narratives.

Key responsibilities

• Create copy for digital and traditional marketing, including email campaigns, nurture journeys, landing pages, website copy, blogs, articles, eBooks, guides, social media content, webinars, digital ads, solution briefs and product overviews.
• Research and write thought leadership such as whitepapers, case studies, executive insights, trend reports, battlecards and customer success stories, partnering with subject matter experts.
• Research technology trends, competitive landscapes and customer needs, and identify content opportunities.
• Work with campaign managers to build messaging frameworks and create sales enablement materials like battlecards, solution summaries and presentation content.
• Optimize content for discoverability and readability, review existing content, and collaborate with designers, campaign managers and other teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Business or a related field.
• Three or more years of experience in content writing, copywriting, content marketing, journalism or a related role.
• Preferred: B2B content in technology, IT services, software, cloud, cybersecurity or digital transformation; demand generation and thought leadership experience.

Required skills

• Exceptional written communication, editing and storytelling skills.
• Strong research, interviewing and information-gathering abilities.
• Ability to simplify complex technology concepts and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Preferred: familiarity with CMS, marketing automation and collaboration tools, and exposure to AI tools and content research platforms.
