Continuous Improvement Lead

About the role

The Continuous Improvement Lead will drive a culture of ongoing enhancement across the manufacturing site, focusing on process efficiency, waste reduction, and overall performance. This role reports to senior management and works closely with cross‑functional teams to implement best‑in‑class improvement methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Process Analysis – Identify and optimise processes for increased efficiency and reduced waste.
• Data Collection & Analysis – Gather performance data, measure key metrics, and pinpoint improvement opportunities.
• Problem Solving – Apply Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen and other methodologies to resolve challenges.
• Project Management – Plan, coordinate and execute improvement projects, engaging vendors as needed.
• Performance Monitoring – Track the impact of initiatives and adjust actions accordingly.
• Training & Coaching – Educate employees on continuous improvement tools and foster an innovative culture.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Work with various departments to implement changes and secure stakeholder buy‑in.
• Documentation & Monitoring – Maintain detailed project records and present ROI‑focused progress reports to management.

Required profile

• Degree B.Sc./M.Sc. in engineering, preferably Chemical.
• 5‑7 years of continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within a multinational food/chemical/petrochemical business.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (Black Belt is an advantage).

Required skills

• Lean Six Sigma methodology (Green Belt, Black Belt).
• Problem‑solving tools such as Kaizen, Six Sigma.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong report writing and presentation abilities.
