Corporate & Economic Affairs Manager

About the role

The Corporate & Economic Affairs Manager will lead advocacy efforts with government ministries and agencies on taxation, finance and economic policy. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Affairs North & HQ, the role supports business units in obtaining approvals and shaping the company’s public policy strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead taxation advocacy, including tax relief, budget issues, import duties and resolution of outstanding matters.
• Represent JazzWorld with relevant ministries, departments and district administrations to secure NOCs and approvals.
• Develop and execute a corporate and economic affairs strategy, including campaign planning and engagement initiatives.
• Provide cross‑functional support to achieve organisational objectives and drive effective business results.
• Build and maintain strong internal and external partnerships with officials and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 4‑7 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in advocacy, campaign development and public engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with internal and external officials and representatives.
• Strong understanding of economic policy advocacy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
