Costing Manager – Manufacturing Cost Analysis

About the role

The Costing Manager will lead the analysis and calculation of manufacturing costs for a range of surgical products, including multi‑product catalogs, single‑use kits, and custom OEM lines. This role supports accurate pricing strategies and drives cost‑saving initiatives across the production process.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and calculate precise manufacturing costs for multi‑product surgical catalogs, single‑use kits, and custom OEM product lines.
• Evaluate direct and indirect cost components, including raw‑material yields, machine runtime, forging and labor cycles, and overhead allocations.
• Conduct variance analysis between standard budgeted costs and actual production costs to pinpoint inefficiencies and material wastage.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and recommend corrective actions to improve profitability.
• Prepare detailed cost estimation sheets for management to support pricing negotiations with international distributors and portal contracts.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and finance teams to ensure cost data accuracy and alignment with product development timelines.
