Country Finance Manager

About the role

The Country Finance Manager will lead the finance and accounting functions for Ipas Pakistan, ensuring compliance with local regulations, donor requirements and internal policies while providing strategic financial leadership to support program delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead compliance with Government of Pakistan laws, tax obligations and INGO financial reporting requirements.
• Oversee monthly close, financial statements, audit coordination and internal control processes.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, donor reporting and financial analysis for program and fundraising activities.
• Supervise award, sub‑award and partner financial management, including due‑diligence and capacity building.
• Coordinate with Global Finance on audits, ERP implementation and corrective action plans.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with professional certification (ACCA, CA, CMA/ACMA or equivalent).
• Proven leadership experience in finance management for NGOs/INGOs, including risk management and internal controls.
• Strong knowledge of local statutory requirements, GAAP and donor compliance.
