Credit Relationship Assistant Manager – FI & NBFI

About the role

The Credit Relationship Assistant Manager supports the analysis, risk assessment and structuring of credit facilities for Financial Institutions (FI) and Non‑Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI). Working closely with Relationship Managers, Wholesale Risk Management and Compliance, the role ensures timely, high‑quality credit proposals and portfolio monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in financial analysis, credit risk assessment and risk rating of facilities for assigned FI and NBFI clients.
• Prepare and submit Greenlight Memos and Credit Proposals, including new, renewal and amendment requests.
• Maintain portfolio controls, transaction monitoring and counter‑party credit limits in line with bank policy.
• Coordinate with Relationship Managers, Senior Relationship Managers and Business Support to gather up‑to‑date information and reduce turnaround time.
• Produce routine and management reports on limits, exposure, allocations and covenant compliance.
• Review covenants, monitor early alerts and support RM team with ad‑hoc memos or information packs.
• Ensure compliance with Central Bank regulations, UAE legal requirements and internal credit‑risk policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of credit or financial analysis experience in banking or a related field.
• Degree in Business, Economics or related discipline; MBA, CFA or CA considered an asset.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight timelines.
