Customer Service Representative – Dispatch Coordinator

About the role

Yuni Rides is seeking a Customer Service Representative who will also act as a Dispatch Coordinator for its school transportation services in Karachi. The role involves ensuring safe, reliable, and timely transport for students while serving as the primary communication link between drivers, families, schools, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate daily transportation operations for assigned routes and trips.
• Communicate with drivers throughout the day to provide operational support and resolve trip‑related concerns.
• Assign, track, and ensure completion of all scheduled trips.
• Adjust trips, reassign drivers, and manage coverage when operational changes occur.
• Support morning and afternoon dispatch to maintain on‑time service delivery.
• Assist with onboarding new drivers and follow up on documentation.
• Maintain accurate operational records and update internal systems.
• Respond professionally to inquiries from drivers, schools, and internal stakeholders.
• Escalate issues promptly and collaborate with dispatch and operations teams for resolution.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience (preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in customer service, dispatch, transportation operations, logistics, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, time‑sensitive environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace applications.
