Cybersecurity Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join a global information services leader on a contract basis. The role is fully remote and focuses on identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities across networks, web applications, and APIs to strengthen the organization’s security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments, including network, web application, and API penetration testing.
• Run vulnerability scans, analyze results, and pinpoint security weaknesses.
• Develop and execute custom exploits to validate risks and simulate real‑world attack scenarios.
• Document findings in detailed reports with remediation recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineering and security teams to triage issues and verify remediation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in penetration testing and vulnerability assessment.
• Ability to develop custom exploits and automate testing workflows.
• Strong analytical skills with clear technical communication.
