D365 F&O Application Operations Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a D365 Application Operations Specialist on a fixed‑term contract (renewable until March 2027) to ensure the stability, performance and health of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations platform. You will work closely with functional teams, developers and external support partners to monitor, troubleshoot and continuously improve the ERP environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the health of Production, UAT and Development D365 F&O environments and guarantee high availability.
• Manage, optimise and troubleshoot batch jobs, addressing failures, delays and performance bottlenecks.
• Analyse telemetry (Application Insights, LCS) and database/query performance, driving continuous improvement.
• Track resource consumption (CPU, memory, database) and advise on capacity planning and Azure cost‑efficiency.
• Provide 2nd/3rd line incident support, perform root‑cause analysis and maintain runbooks.
• Monitor integrations (APIs, DMF, EDI, middleware) and resolve data‑flow issues.
• Oversee licence usage, support compliance and governance activities.
• Assist with release deployments, post‑release validation and hyper‑care support.
• Automate monitoring, develop operational dashboards and implement preventive measures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 4‑6 years of experience supporting Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Strong understanding of ERP operational concepts and cloud‑based environments.
