About the role
The position is in S&P Global’s Transactions division, responsible for collecting, validating and delivering high‑quality M&A and capital‑market data for S&P Global Market Intelligence. You will handle day‑to‑day data collation and support process‑improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and validate transactions data from press releases, company websites, stock exchanges and regulatory filings.
- Enter and maintain data in internal work tools according to guideline specifications.
- Meet individual and team quality and volume targets.
- Provide input for new collection methods and product enhancements.
- Participate in LEAN/automation projects and support teammates.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance or a related field.
- Fresher or up to 6 months experience in financial research, data collection or analysis.
- Strong research, analytical and communication skills.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts (morning, evening, night).
Required skills
- SQL (preferred).
- VBA (preferred).
