Data Centre Operations Engineer

About the role

Turnotech is looking for experienced Data Centre Operations Engineers to join its Islamabad team. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of mission‑critical data centre infrastructure, working in a 24×7 environment.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor power, cooling, network, servers, storage and virtualization platforms.
• Perform preventive maintenance and coordinate with vendors to keep systems running smoothly.
• Respond to alarms, troubleshoot incidents, escalate when necessary and produce detailed incident reports.
• Maintain accurate documentation, follow standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Telecom, IT or a related field.
• 5–10 years of hands‑on experience in enterprise data centre operations.
• Strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure components such as power, cooling, servers, storage, virtualization and networking.
• Willingness to work rotating 24×7 shifts.

Required skills

• Experience with enterprise monitoring or DCIM platforms.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes.
• Relevant data‑centre certifications such as CDCP, CDCS or CDCE.
