Demand Planning Specialist

About the role

foodpanda, the leading on‑demand food delivery platform in Pakistan, is seeking a highly‑driven Demand Planning Specialist to join its team. You will work closely with the Assistant Manager of Demand and Supply Planning to develop replenishment plans, support S&OP meetings, and ensure optimal inventory levels across distribution centres and stores.

Key responsibilities

• Create daily and weekly replenishment plans at the supplier level using inventory parameters, actual sell‑out, and forecast data.
• Participate in S&OP forecast meetings and adjust forecasts as needed.
• Calculate supply plans based on generated demand forecasts.
• Prepare and update weekly and monthly supply planning files and KPI reports.
• Maintain healthy inventory levels in DCs and stores, meeting target days‑cover, availability, and shrinkage goals.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to adjust forecast plans and coordinate delivery alignments with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance, flag slow‑moving SKUs, and identify items with no movement for 28 days.
• Support cross‑functional projects and resolve issues as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Economics or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in demand or supply planning, preferably in FMCG, grocery retail, or e‑commerce.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with large data sets.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of working autonomously.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
