Dental Assistant With Receptionist Duties

About the role

Modern dental clinic in Gulberg, Lahore is looking for a Dental Assistant who will also handle receptionist duties. The role combines chair‑side support for the dentist with front‑desk responsibilities to ensure smooth patient flow.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments and supplies before dental procedures.
• Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures and routine patient care.
• Follow infection‑control, sterilisation, hygiene and workplace safety procedures.
• Greet patients, manage reception activities and maintain an orderly waiting area.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, update patient records and handle basic clinic documentation.
• Answer patient queries professionally and coordinate communication between patients and the clinical team.
• Monitor supplies and report replenishment needs to clinic management.

Required profile

• Practical understanding of dental chair‑side assistance and treatment‑room preparation.
• Knowledge of instrument handling, sterilisation, infection prevention and clinical hygiene.
• Professional communication skills and a courteous patient‑service attitude.
• Organised, punctual, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to protect patient confidentiality and follow clinic policies.
