Deputy Manager – OPD Operations

About the role

The Deputy Manager will provide strategic oversight and daily leadership for OPD operations, supporting medical teams to ensure smooth patient flow and compliance with regulatory, budgetary and organizational standards. This role is pivotal in delivering high‑quality, safe, and efficient healthcare services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily clinical operations to guarantee uninterrupted OPD service delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement in patient satisfaction through active feedback mechanisms.
• Organise and conduct monthly awareness sessions and D‑Level safety meetings.
• Establish and manage the Wellbeing Clinic for non‑compliant patients.
• Guide duty doctors on cost‑effective and clinically appropriate referrals.
• Monitor and review clinical data for accuracy, ensure timely incorporation of investigations into patient records, and track chronic disease registration data.
• Maintain customer‑centric health and wellbeing services, monitor formulary adherence, and participate in clinical, quality and coordination meetings.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS) – mandatory.
• 5 to 7 years of combined clinical and administrative experience.
• Proven ability to manage OPD operations and lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical mindset for data monitoring and quality improvement.
