Design Lead Architect – In‑House Architectural Design Lead

About the role

The Design Lead Architect will head TCF’s In‑House Architectural Design Section, providing technical leadership across the full design lifecycle for institutional and educational projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the in‑house design team, ensuring quality review of all architectural, structural, electrical and plumbing deliverables.
• Plan, prioritize and monitor design activities from land assessment through BPR, detailed design, tender and IFC drawings, construction support and as‑built review.
• Coordinate with external consultants and internal stakeholders to resolve design conflicts and maintain compliance with TCF standards.
• Develop functional, economical and constructible designs, including well‑lit, naturally ventilated buildings that meet accessibility and climate considerations.
• Provide continuous architectural support during construction, handling site queries and change impacts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch.) from an HEC‑recognized university, PCATP registration; Master’s preferred.
• 15‑20 years of progressive architectural design experience, including leadership of large‑scale institutional or educational projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of architectural planning, layout design and space optimisation for educational facilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with BIM, AutoCAD and Revit.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
• Knowledge of AI‑related design tools (preferred).
