Detail-Oriented Accountant with Financial Reporting Skills

About the role

Protaxhelp Pvt Ltd is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join its finance team in Islamabad. The role focuses on financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting and forecasting, with a special emphasis on compliance with US tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing, payments and collections.
• Develop budgets and conduct financial forecasting to support business planning.
• Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Utilise QuickBooks and Excel for recording, tracking and reconciling transactions.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

Required profile

• At least one year of relevant accounting experience.
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CA Inter, ACMA or an MBA in Finance.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and US tax regulations.
• Willingness to work night‑shift hours from 5:30 pm to 2:30 am.

Required skills

• Proficiency with QuickBooks accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
