DevOps Engineer (100% remote)

About the role

Tether is looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, implement and maintain end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines using GitHub. The role focuses on test‑driven deployment, automated release management and Infrastructure as Code in a fast‑moving fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and management of CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and similar tools.
• Containerize applications and micro‑services using Docker and optimise image builds.
• Manage build, packaging and publishing workflows for JavaScript, TypeScript and C++ packages, including versioning and semantic tagging.
• Develop cross‑platform build pipelines with CMake or equivalent tools for web, desktop and mobile.
• Automate end‑to‑end release processes, including tagging, signing and distribution for iOS, Android, web and desktop.
• Define and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, AWS CDK/CloudFormation) for scalable, secure environments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines at scale.
• Strong expertise in Linux system administration, networking and shell scripting.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in globally distributed teams.
