DevOps Engineer (GCP, Docker, Kubernetes)

About the role

Qureos Inc is looking for a seasoned DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the cloud infrastructure that powers our applications. You will collaborate with development, QA, and IT teams to automate operations, monitor performance, and ensure reliable deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run, and GKE.
• Implement and maintain container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines on GitHub and Google Cloud Run.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting with Elasticsearch, Kibana, Prometheus, and New Relic.
• Administer and optimize MongoDB instances, handling backup and disaster recovery.
• Apply security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform or Ansible and custom Python/Bash scripts.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development and QA teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP services.
• Proficiency in Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and CI/CD tools (GitHub CI, CircleCI).
• Excellent problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
