DevOps Engineer (Infrastructure)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a global technology leader on a contract basis. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure to accelerate software delivery while ensuring reliability and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements for high availability.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to adopt DevOps best practices.
• Support and optimize cloud environments on AWS, Azure, or GCP, focusing on scalability and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines and automating infrastructure.
• Strong scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Hands‑on knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack.
• Understanding of networking, security, and cloud‑native best practices.
