DevOps Engineer – Infrastructure (Remote Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a leading technology client on a contract basis. The role is fully remote and focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure to accelerate software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and implement improvements for high availability.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to embed DevOps best practices.
• Support and optimize cloud environments on AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring scalability and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands‑on knowledge of infrastructure‑as‑code and configuration‑management tools.
• Strong scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with containerization, orchestration, monitoring, and logging solutions.
• Understanding of networking, security, and cloud‑native best practices.
