DevOps Engineer (Remote Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a leading global IT services and consulting firm on a contract basis. The position is fully remote and focuses on designing, building, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines and automated infrastructure to support fast‑paced software development.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in production and staging environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of applications.
• Implement and enforce security best practices in infrastructure and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Strong experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands‑on expertise with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and version control (Git) with branching strategies.
