Director Business Development & Trade

About the role

PTCL is seeking a senior leader to drive business development, trade marketing, channel growth, sales enablement, and market expansion across its designated zone. The role acts as the strategic bridge between headquarters sales support and the zonal sales organization, translating national strategies into actionable local initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute business development, trade marketing, and channel growth initiatives to achieve sustainable revenue and customer growth.
• Monitor market dynamics, competitor activities, pricing trends, and product offerings to identify opportunities and risks.
• Collaborate with Market Intelligence teams to gather and analyze competitive insights.
• Prepare and share regular market intelligence reports with HQ and zonal sales leadership.
• Recommend and implement initiatives that strengthen competitive positioning and improve business performance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Management or a related discipline.
• 12+ years of experience, with strong background in managing geographically dispersed sales operations or multiple regions.
• Experience in telecom, FMCG, retail or large‑scale distribution environments is preferred.
