Director – Energy Exploration & Production

About the role

The Director will provide strategic leadership for exploration, production and operational activities at Mari Energies Limited. This full‑time, on‑site position in Multan drives performance, efficiency and long‑term growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and execution across exploration, production and operations.
• Oversee business performance, cost control and resource utilization.
• Guide long‑term planning and drive initiatives that improve efficiency.
• Lead cross‑functional teams and champion talent development.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on investment decisions, risk management and market expansion, including international ventures.
• Ensure strong corporate governance, ethical practices and stakeholder value.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in energy, oil & gas or related industrial sectors.
• Proficiency in operations management, project oversight and performance monitoring, preferably in exploration and production.
• Strong financial acumen – budgeting, cost control and investment evaluation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead diverse teams, build talent pipelines and foster a culture of accountability and safety.
• Understanding of energy markets, regulatory frameworks and corporate governance standards.
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geosciences, Business Administration, Finance or related field; MBA or professional certifications are a plus.
• Experience in international business development or cross‑border projects is advantageous.
• Commitment to ethical conduct, environmental stewardship and social responsibility.
