Director National & GMNC

About the role

Lead the overall National Accounts and Global Multinational Customers (GMNC) commercial strategy for DHL Express Pakistan, driving sustainable revenue growth, customer retention, profitability and market share expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Own growth, retention and profitability of the National Accounts and GMNC portfolio, delivering revenue, shipment and gross profit targets.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with country, regional and global priorities, identifying opportunities across industries, products and trade lanes.
• Build trusted relationships with CEOs, Managing Directors and senior supply‑chain executives, positioning DHL as a strategic logistics partner.
• Lead executive customer engagements, business reviews, contract negotiations and pricing discussions.
• Provide leadership, coaching and direction to the National Accounts and GMNC team, fostering a high‑performance, customer‑centric culture.
• Collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, Pricing, Finance, IT/Digital and regional/global stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
• 10‑15 years of commercial leadership experience in B2B logistics, supply chain, transportation or related complex solution‑selling industries.
• Proven track record managing strategic customer portfolios, delivering significant revenue growth and profitability.
• Strong executive presence with ability to engage, influence and negotiate with senior business leaders.
• Experience leading large commercial, national‑account or key‑account teams within matrix organisations.
