Director of Academic Excellence (Remote)

About the role

2 Hour Learning is seeking a visionary leader to own and scale its academic model that delivers twice the learning velocity in just two hours daily. This remote senior position will shape strategy, ensure rigorous execution across diverse school environments, and serve as the public face of a science‑driven education movement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop academic frameworks that translate learning science into actionable curriculum, motivation systems, and application design.
• Conduct execution reviews with Heads of Academics to keep school teams aligned, accountable, and results‑driven.
• Analyze data, interview stakeholders, and observe practice to produce ecosystem reviews that identify high‑impact barriers and recommend concrete interventions.
• Maintain strategic alignment through planning cycles, feedback mechanisms, and milestone monitoring.
• Represent 2 Hour Learning at high‑profile events, keynote addresses, and engagements with Ministries of Education worldwide.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in academic or EdTech leadership roles, with direct responsibility for managing staff.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable learning outcomes at scale.
