Director Operations

About the role

Cratus Technologies is seeking a Director Operations to lead operational activities across manufacturing, telecom deployment, power infrastructure projects, supply chain, quality, HSE, and customer operations. The role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for ensuring efficient production, successful project delivery, high customer satisfaction, and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business objectives, driving productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost optimization.
• Oversee manufacturing of telecom cabinets, outdoor enclosures, power cabinets, ensuring targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
• Lead end‑to‑end execution of telecom and power infrastructure projects, managing site rollout, installation, commissioning, and acceptance.
• Develop, qualify, and manage outsourced manufacturing and service delivery partners, implementing governance, KPIs, SLAs, and performance monitoring.
• Serve as primary operational contact for key telecom operators and enterprise customers, handling relationships, escalations, and performance reviews.
• Manage procurement, inventory, logistics, and supplier relationships to optimize costs and working capital.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and HSE regulations, promoting safety and quality culture.
• Control operational budgets, monitor project costs, margins, and efficiency, supporting profitability objectives.
• Lead and develop cross‑functional teams, fostering a high‑performance, accountable, and customer‑focused culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Telecommunications, Industrial or related). MBA or Master's preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in telecom infrastructure, manufacturing, and deployment services.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing telecom operations or projects.
• Proven track record managing manufacturing operations, outsourced partners, large‑scale telecom/power deployment projects, and customer accounts.
